![]() Step 5: Undo the three screws that hold the button panel fascia in place. These screws are identical apart from the one labelled 'A' which is smaller than the rest (remember this when reassembling!) Use the lever to remove the optical (CD/DVD) drive. Step 2: Pull the black plastic tabs to disconnect the hard drive and remove the drive from the laptop.
